Q: Do you offer support for both adults and children?
A: Yes. We offer assessments for adults and children, as well our neurodivergent navigation pathways, mentoring and workshops for adults & parents.
Q: Is there available support for both those diagnosed and undiagnosed?
​A: Absolutely. Our services are designed for those exploring neurodivergence, in addition to those who are already diagnosed and seeking clarity.

Assessments (ADHD, Autism & Combined (AuDHD)

Q: What types of assessments do you offer?
A: We provide private ADHD, Autism and combined (AuDHD) assessments for adults and children.

Q: Who conducts the assessments?
A: Assessments are conducted by our Neurodevelopmental Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Q: What does an assessment involve?
A: Assessments typically include interviews, questionnaires, observation and detailed feedback sessions. For children, we involve parents and may liaise with schools if needed.

Q: Will I receive a report?
A: Yes. Each assessment includes a comprehensive report highlighting strengths, challenges and recommended strategies or interventions.

Q: Is post-diagnosis support available?
A: Yes. We deliver our Navigation Pathway's to help you understand, implement strategies and access ongoing care regardless of diagnosis status.

Funding Support Options

Q: What is The ADHD Creative Hub CIC?
A: The ADHD Creative Hub is a Community Interest Company founded to remove current accessibility and funding barriers in place for adults & parents seeking ADHD and additional neurodivergence support. It does this by covering the costs of neurodivergent services at The Mensah Wellbeing Group for adults/parents who would otherwise be unable to access support.

Q: Why was the Hub created?
A: The Hub was founded to address the lack of accessible, practical and real-life ADHD & neurodivergent support for adults and parents. Many adults and parents experience long waitlists, inaccessibility due to cost restrictions and confusing pathways, or limited post-diagnostic & pre-diagnostic support.

Q: How is the Hub funded?
A: The Hub is funded through a mix of grants, fundraising and delivering Lived Experience Services.

Q: What Support do you fund at The Mensah Wellbeing Group?
A: Anything from Assessments to the Navigation Pathways, are available to have costs covered, to ensure support remains accessible for adults/parents. Additionally, we offer our Lived Experience Introduction Workshop at an accessible cost which runs bi-weekly.

Q: How Can I Support The ADHD Creative Hub CIC?
A: We welcome any donations, fundraising, sponsors, volunteers and collaboration opportunities with anyone/organisation who wish to continue helping us support our mission.
The Neurodivergent Navigation Pathways
​Q: What are the Navigation Pathways?
A: Our Navigation Pathway is the personalised support programme designed to help adults or parents understand their/their child's neurodivergence, identify practical strategies and access the right support for real-life challenges. It combines workshop sessions, one-to-one guidance, and a tailored plan to give clarity, confidence and direction.

Q: Do I need a diagnosis to start a pathway?
A: No. Our pathways are designed for anyone exploring neurodivergence or seeking clarity, as well as those already diagnosed. You do not need an official assessment to begin.

Q: How do the adult and parent pathways differ?
A: Adult pathways focus on self-understanding, practical strategies and daily life management. Parent pathways focus on supporting you in understanding your child's profile, managing challenges at home or school and building effective routines and communication strategies.

Q: How long does a pathway take?
A: Each pathway is flexible, typically involving multiple workshop sessions and one-to-one appointments, tailored to your goals and pace.

Introduction Lived Experience Workshops
​
Q: What is the Introduction Workshop?
A: A gentle, lived-experience introduction to ADHD, Autism, or AuDHD. These workshops provide a safe space to reflect, learn and gain a basic understanding neurodivergence before choosing a pathway or assessment.

Q: Who is it for?
A: Adults exploring neurodivergence/or diagnosed or parents seeking foundational understanding before moving into a Navigation Pathway or formal assessment.
​
Q: How long are the workshops?
A: 2 hour evening sessions, designed for small groups to allow reflection, discussion and personalised guidance.
​
Q: What will I get from the session?
A: Basic insights into traits and challenges, a handout summarising the basics, strategies for advocacy and wellbeing and clarity on potential next steps.

1:1 Neurodivergent Mentoring
​
Q: Who is mentoring for?
A: Adults who want additional personalised guidance following The Adult Navigation Pathway, to apply the strategies in real life, manage executive function and emotional regulation and achieve long-term goals.
​
Q: Do I need a diagnosis?
A: No. However, mentoring is most suitable for anyone who has a confirmed clinical diagnosis or who has completed The Adult Navigation Pathway to ensure they have been provided with a clinical assessment.

Practitioner & Organisation Training

Q: What training services do you offer?
A: We provide:

Clinical Coaching: 1:1 supervision for healthcare practitioners and coaches working with neurodivergent clients.

Experiential Training: Hands-on workshops for educators, helping them experience and understand neurodivergent traits.

Neuroinclusion Training: Practical guidance for employers to create inclusive environments for neurodivergent employees.

Q: Is training tailored?
A: Yes. We adapt each session to your sector, team and objectives.

Q: Can training be delivered online?
A: We believe training is most effective delivered in person, however there may be some training elements which can be delivered online. This can be discussed during your initial consultation.

Q: What spaces are available?

Living Room Space: Up to 20 people, ideal for workshops, meetings, or group sessions.

Therapy Room Space: Up to 4 people, designed for small group sessions or one-to-one work.

Q: Can I hire spaces for workshops or therapy sessions?
A: Yes. Our spaces are designed to provide a calm, comfortable, and adaptable environment.

Q: How can I book a space?
A: Spaces can be booked hourly, or as part of a package. Packages may include setup support, refreshments and light snacks.
​
Q: Can I book recurring sessions?
A: Yes. We accommodate regular bookings to suit ongoing needs.
